How do I sign up?

You don't have a location, where is this being done?

The Fold is currently being operated out of my house. Days where we have high volume of orders, a local laundry mat may be used to fulfill the order on time.

At this time we are only accepting orders from the Springfield, MO area.
How does it work?

Once you sign up, you'll be able to select the plan that works best for you. Crave routine? Then our Fold VIP membership plan is the one for you. Tell us when to come and we'll be there every week. Prefer a bit more flexibility? We also offer "By Request" service so you can use only when you need us. You can choose from our detergent list, softener, dryer sheets, bleach and color-safe bleach. If you have any special instructions or requests, just let us know. Last step- enter your billing information and you're on your way to a laundry free life.
Do I need to do anything after I sign up? ​

The only things you need to do between now and pick up:

Leave your laundry out on the day of pickup. For your first service, we recommend that you fill a 13-gallon kitchen bag of fabric equivalent, marked with your name and "For The Fold". Please do not use hampers or boxes of any sort. ​

Your clothes will be returned to you in 1-3 days. (Texts will be sent to you before drop off) If you signed up for one of our monthly plans we will be returning your laundry in one of our "The Fold" laundry bags for reuse. Put them in your closet and forget about having to do laundry....ever again!
What is the turnaround-time? ​

Your perfectly washed and folded clothes will be returned to you within 1-3 days of pickup. (Most will be next day)

Orders over 75 pounds (5 bags) could take 2-4 days
Do you offer Dry Cleaning? ​

At this time we do not, however we will accept your dry cleaning and will have it done for you at a local drycleaner. We will drop it off and pick it up for you.

You would simply mark what items that need to be drycleaned and we will take care of the rest.

This service will be billed separately from your original order.
Is there any contract or long-term commitment?

None whatsoever. You can cancel your membership at any time.

How much does your service cost?

$35 is our standard price for each appointment.

That price will cover 2 13-gallon bags (30 pounds of laundry) of laundry, detergent, dryer sheet, pickup and delivery.

Other services added to the order will be additional.
How will I be billed? ​

We bill your credit or debit card directly. We will email you a detailed invoice each time your card is billed.
Why does The Fold pre-authorize my order?

As a Fold customer, before we begin washing your laundry, we will place a hold on your credit or debit card for the estimated total of your order. The estimate will show on your bank statement as a pending charge. Once your Fold laundry is washed, dried, folded and ready to come home to you, we'll bill your card for the final order total, thereby releasing the pending charge.
How do I cancel my service?

If you signed up for a pickup and need to cancel, please cancel before 6 am in your account the morning of your pickup to avoid any missed pick up fees.

What if I forgot to set my laundry out for pick up? ​

We all know life is busy and mistakes happen. If you forget to set your laundry out for pick up on the date and time scheduled, a $10 miss pick up fee will be billed to your account.

From there, you would simply rebook your next appointment.
Can my roommate and I share an account? ​

Sure, but for your convenience we highly recommend you each sign up for your own account. If you decide to share an account, you will need to separate your laundry upon its return.
